Thank you for posting this wonderful history. Z.B. Decker Jr. was my G. Gr.father. I am Patty Bushman Nielson, daughter of Daphne Decker's son, Mitchell Smith Bushman and his wife, Glenda Porter.
PS The picture of my grandparent's family (Daphne and Preston Bushman) has to be taken later than 1922---maybe 1930. My father, Mitchell (Daphne's oldest of 7 boys) was born in 1912. He looks to be about 18 years old in this picture.
I also appreciate this history! I am Judith Bushman Humes, daughter of Daphne Decker's youngest son, Preston Bushman. Patty must be right about the year because my father (pictured lower left) was born in 1922! Also, he is not Preston Bushman, Jr. but Preston Junior Bushman. Junior was his middle name! Thank you for sharing, it is wonderful.
